Salvation
Every person must be born again to know God and have ever- lasting life.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. - John 3:3
For this reason, we all need to be saved! For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23
Nothing! It comes at no cost to you because Jesus paid the price and it's a gift to us all.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23
You make Jesus the Lord of your life. Making Jesus the Lord (Master) of your life means you're putting Him in charge of your life and committing to follow His word, The Bible.
If you're ready to do so pray this prayer:
"God I come to You in the name of Jesus. I ask You to come into my life. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and I believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead. I turn my back on sin and I commit to follow You for the rest of my life. I thank You for, Father, for saving me!"
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9
You are now born again, forgiven and on your way to heaven. You are a new creation. Yet this is only the beginning. It’s important to renew yourmind so you can live a powerful life as a believer.
Reading the Bible regularly is important to your spiritual growth and getting together with other believers regularly is also important.
If you ever have doubts about your salvation, reject them, and remember that regardless of your emotions or how you feel, you are saved because you obeyed Romans 10:9.
It's important to get water baptized as a believer. Making a public confession that you're all in for Jesus.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit, it's another gift God wants to give you!
